Meta Tag Analyzer

Enter any URL and we'll fetch the page and check all of its important SEO tags — your title, meta description, Open Graph data, canonical URL, robots directives, and viewport settings — with plain-language explanations of what each one means.

What We Check and Why It Matters

Meta tags are invisible lines of HTML that communicate important information to search engines and social media platforms. Missing or poorly written meta tags are one of the most common causes of weak search performance.

  • Title tag — displayed as the blue link in search results. Should be 30–60 characters.
  • Meta description — the gray text below the title. Aim for 70–160 characters.
  • Open Graph tags — control how your page appears when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Canonical URL — prevents duplicate content issues by telling Google the preferred URL.
